Description
The BIOMESH surgical mesh is made of polypropylene monofilament manufactured with a smaller diameter, allowing stretching in both directions to accommodate and reinforce tissue defects. The high strength of the mesh allows it to work safely and reliably.
BIOMESH Surgical Mesh is recommended for interventions in general surgery. Its aim is to reinforce weakened soft tissue; that is, to repair hernias and defects of the abdominal wall. BIOMESH Surgical Mesh is inert in case of infection. BIOMESH Surgical Mesh is a non-absorbable synthetic polypropylene surgical mesh and is available in standard dimensions as well as other sizes.
Indications
- The BioMesh polypropylene mesh is indicated for the treatment of hernias, such as inguinal hernia, abdominal hernia, incarcerated hernia, umbilical hernia, among the most common.
- Due to its high tensile strength at the tissue level and its non-absorbable nature, favoring tissue adhesion, it is the most used in the definitive treatment of parietal defects.
Presentations
- Individual packet.
- Sterilized by Ethylene Oxide.
