BioMesh Ultra: the new BioMesh Ultra Surgical Meshes are made of polypropylene strands (non-absorbable material) and PGA – polyglycolic acid plus PCL – Polycaprolactone (absorbable material)
With the absorption of polyglycolic acid through the hydrolysis process carried out by the body, there remains the polypropylene mesh whose structure is designed to absorb physiological stresses.
This degradation of PGA – PCL makes that at the end of the hydrolysis process the mesh is the lightest on the market and with a good resistance to tension (32Kgf)
